At the end of volumes 1-2 the corresponding sections of Lechem Mishneh on the Mishneh Torah, authored by Rabbi Abraham di Boton, are bound.  Amsterdam, 1703. By Emanuel ben Joseph Attias and Solomon ben Joseph Katz Proops.

This Amsterdam edition, printed in the year "Michtav, " is considered the most corrected edition of Maimonides’ Mishneh Torah and served as the foundational edition for most subsequent printings. The first volume includes an additional illustrated title page engraved in copper. 

Volume 1: [8], 327, [4]; [3], 49 leaves.


Overall Good- Fair Condition, quality pages, marginal stains and water stains, marginal worming and tears on title page and to first few pages, original Leather and wood binding with clasps damaged.

Volume 2: [2], 227, [4]; 52 leaves.

Overall Good- Fair Condition, quality pages, marginal stains, water stains and signs of mold, minor marginal worming to first couple pages, original wood and leather binding with clasps damaged.

Volume 3: [1], 368, [9] leaves. Lechem Mishneh is not included in this volume.

Overall Good- Fair Condition, quality pages, marginal stains, water stains, and signs of mold, some frayed edges and marginal tears to first few pages, page 123 has tear affecting text, original wood and leather binding with clasp damaged, missing one clasp.

Volume 4: [1], 309, [13] leaves. Lechem Mishneh is not included in this volume.

Overall Good Condition, quality pages, marginal stains and water stains, original Leather and wood binding with clasps damaged.

This set was originally bound without the illustration plates that appear in some copies. 38 Cm.
