A warm letter of blessing filled with abundant blessings from the Holy Rebbe Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar, to his relative, Rabbi Alexander Chaim Ashkenazi.
Brooklyn, 1964. Written in the handwriting of the Rebbe’s secretary, with a few words in the Rebbe’s own handwriting and his holy signature.
"And I pray for you that the Almighty will assist you in all your matters, and that you should merit to be inscribed for a good and blessed year in the book of the completely righteous, with good health, clarity of mind, and much nachas from children and grandchildren. A good and blessed year, and may we soon witness the salvation and joy of all Israel."
Rabbi Alexander Chaim Ashkenazi (1889–1974) was the son of Rabbi Asher Anshel Ashkenazi and the son-in-law of Rebbi Chanoch Henich of Alesk. His son was Rabbi Elimelech Ashkenazi (1918–2012).
