Handwritten manuscript from the renowned sefer Min HaMeitzar, authored by the great genius Rabbi Michael Dov Weissmandl.
As is well known, after the war, the author transcribed entire letters from his legendary memory and printed them at the end of his sefer.
This particular letter was written with the essence of his pure heart’s blood on official letterhead as Rosh Yeshiva of Nitra in Mount Kisco. It is a copy of a long and chilling letter, written in January 1943, concerning efforts to save Slovakian Jewry.
Consists of five pages, written on one side only. Printed in Min HaMeitzar, pages 149–150.
From the estate of a close disciple who worked at the printing press which was in the Yeshiva.
