28 Sivan, the historic day of salvation in Chabad Chassidism, the day the Rebbe from Lubavitch arrived in New York, on this day Hasidic meetings were held every year and is a day that is considered a holiday in the court of Lubavitch Chassidism.
On the inside of the cover of the Kuntres and on the accompanying Dollar bill it is written by R’ Chaim Tzvi Konikov:
On The Kuntress: "Received From the Holy Hands of his Honor and Holiness the Admo"r Shlit"a, which i received on the late afternoon of the 28th and eve of the 29th of Sivan 1991, on the third day of the week of Parshat Korach, along with the "Kovets 28 Sivan -Yovel Shanim", and the plastic cover, the day the Rebbe came to America."
On The Dollar Bill: "Received From the Holy Hands of his Honor and Holiness the Admo"r Shlit"a , on the late afternoon of the 28th and eve of the 29th of Sivan 1991, on the third day of the week of Parshat Korach, along with the "Kovets 28 Sivan -Yovel Shanim", the day the Rebbe came to America , and the plastic cover."
The culmination of the celebrations of this day was in the year 1991, when the fiftieth anniversary of this day was marked, these pamphlets were distributed from the holy hands of the Rebbe "Kovetz 28 Sivan " that were published especially in honor of the status of the division on this date.
In this pamphlet, there is a detailed description of the Rebbe’s first meeting in the USA, the Rebbe’s conversations and more.
Included with the pamphlet " Kovetz 28 Sivan" is the dollar bill given with this special pamphlet and its original plastic case handed out by the Rebbe in Brooklyn , 1991
