This extraordinary HaMelech Megillah Esther scroll is scribed on high-quality parchment (klaf) in traditional Hebrew script. Known as a HaMelech Megillah, it derives its name from the careful positioning of the word המלך at the beginning of most columns. The scribe has artfully incorporated a tree-like design growing out of the Lamed in המלך, adding an elegant and symbolic touch to the text.
The scroll features 42 lines per column, following the layout style used in Torah scrolls, and is of significant size, making it a visually impactful piece. Adding to its uniqueness, the Megillah is accompanied by a vintage handmade circular brass case.
