An Embroidered American Torah Ark Curtain, 1930 Stunning Torah Ark curtain or 'Parochet' in Hebrew is decorated with beautiful divine animals woven into its red velvet primarily with golden thread embroidery. The Decalogue at the center is embellished with the ten commandments stitched into the fabric with gold thread topped by two hovering birds in blue and gold. Two elaborate rampant lions designed in an American fashion stand atop gorgeous foliate pedestals that flank the Decalogue. A stylish imperial crown decorated with gold and blue threading and the words "Keter Torah" sewn in at top completes the overall embroidered scene framed by a classic gold thread scrolling pattern.

A Silver-Plated Brass Hanukkah Lamp by Bezalel, Circa 1920 The backplate features a relief that is magnificently chased that displays Yehuda the Maccabee holding a jar of pure olive oil with other members of his tribe rigorously cleaning the utensils of the holy temple after the Greeks had defiled them. Center relief is framed by two part-fluted Solomonic pillars, surrounded by a beaded pattern, and three domes shaped at the top edges. Prominently written on the lower part of the backplate in Hebrew is a biblical verse from the book of Maccabees accounting for the above scene; " And They (the maccabees) Hallowed the Courtyard and All (the utensils) that ere Within It".
