This ten-shekel note, printed in 1985 issued by the Bank of Israel was received as a blessing from the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson. The Rebbe was known for distributing dollar bills and, on occasion, other currencies to individuals as a symbolic gesture for giving tzedakah (charity), encouraging recipients to use the funds for good deeds.

The recipient of this 10-shekel note is able to personally authenticate and attest to having received it directly from the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
