This is a woven Jerusalem souvenir depicting the biblical matriarch Rachel dancing on a well. Designed as a decorative wall hanging, it features a central scene where Rachel is illustrated in an animated pose, dancing on a well, referencing her association with water and life in biblical stories. The setting includes palm trees and a distant cityscape, evoking the land of Israel.

Observers, amongst them the Patriarch Jacob, dressed in Middle Eastern and Western attire, are shown watching Rachel.  Hebrew text is woven into the design, including the Tablets of the Law in the upper corners. Two Star of David motifs  with the Word "Zion" and crescent shapes at the lower corners are incorporated, with the words Im Eshkacheich Yerushalyim Tishkach Yemini" meaning "Forget me Not O’ Jerusalem Lest i should Forget my Right hand" emphasizing the cultural and religious significance of Jerusalem’s remembrance. Framed by a decorative border with geometric and floral patterns, enhancing the textile’s ornamental appeal.

This piece serves as both a celebration of Rachel’s legacy and a keepsake of Jerusalem, blending artistry with spiritual and cultural heritage. It is a cherished item for those wishing to honor their connection to the Holy Land.
