Signature on the title page The Gaon & Chassid Rabbi Yaakov Meir Biderman (1870-1941, perished in the Holocaust Hy”d), a profound scholar, son-in-law and editor of the works of the Admor of Gur, the author of "Sefat Emet". He served as a dayan and member of the Rabbinical Council in the city of Warsaw. Rabbi Yaakov Meir was among the closest followers of the House of Gur, and headed the "Kupat Rambam" [Rabbi Meir Baal HaNes] in Poland. He and his brother-in-law Rabbi Mendel of Pabianice were involved in mediating peace and negotiations with all sides in the leadership of the Kollel, and the matters also indirectly involved other disagreements between the Hasidic courts in Poland: Gur and Alexander, Piotrków, Amshinov and other Hasidic groups. Rabbi Yaakov Meir was the father-in-law, in a second marriage, of the Admor of Gur, the author of "Imrei Emet" (from this marriage was born the Admor, Rebbi Pinchas Menachem, the author of "Pnei Menachem"), and the father-in-law, in the first marriage, of the Admor of the "Beit Yisrael". Thus, he was the son-in-law of the Sefat Emet, the brother-in-law and father-in-law of the Imrei Emes, the uncle and father-in-law of the Beit Yisrael, and the grandfather of the Pnei Menachem.
