Two volumes. First volume – Zeraim: [4], 132 leaves; Moed: [1], 172 leaves; Nashim [1], 159, [1] leaf.

Second volume. Nezikin: [1], 190 leaves; Kodashim: 163 leaves; Taharot: [1], 223 leaves.

Approx. 21.8 cm.

David de Castro Tartas, a wealthy patron in whose house this sefer was printed, was the brother of the holy martyr Isaac de Castro Tartas, "who sanctified God’s name in public and was burned alive in Spain for the sanctification of God."

An interesting Italian manuscript Ex-Libris label has been affixed to the binding.


Overall Great condition, few marginal stains, a couple shortened margins, last page of second volume has two small holes affecting text, original brown leather and wood bindings restored and slightly rubbed, later brown leather spines.
