A letter with his holy signature with a blessing for children: "And my prayer on his behalf and on behalf of his household is that the Almighty, with His help, should grant you salvation and mercy, with the blessing of children. The Holy Rebbe Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar [1887-1979], leader of the largest and wealthiest Hasidic community in the world. Son of the Kedushat Yom Tov and younger brother of the "Atzei Chaim, " he continued in his father’s path in leading the Hasidic dynasty. He was the first Rebbe of the Satmar Hasidic community. Known for his greatness even before the Holocaust, he drew attention as early as age seventeen, with Hasidim beginning to gather around him. He led congregations and served as a rabbi in prominent communities for over seventy years. He was at the forefront of Orthodox Judaism in the Maramureș region, holding steadfastly to traditional beliefs.

He survived the Holocaust through the ‘Kastner Train, ‘ and Satmar Hasidim annually celebrate the 21st of Kislev as the "Day of Salvation" of the Rebbe. He initially immigrated to Israel and subsequently moved to the United States, where he played a key role in building the Hasidic world. He rebuilt the Satmar community, which had lost most of its members during the Holocaust, and revitalized the spiritual lives of survivors. He worked tirelessly to establish institutions for Torah and prayer and to restore Judaism after the destruction of European Jewry. He was known for his staunch, uncompromising opposition to Zionism and was considered its principal and fiercest adversary. Author of the seforim Vayoel Moshe, Divrei Yoel, and more.

The dayan of Pupa – the esteemed Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak Neiman (1919-2007), one of the elder rabbis and leading halachic authorities of the last generation. Over seventy years, he taught thousands of students. He remained a loyal disciple of the Pupa rabbinic house, having been appointed in 1937 as head of the Pupa Yeshiva by his teacher, the "Vayaged Yaakov." After the Holocaust, he served as the right-hand man of the Pupa Rebbi Yosef Greenwald, author of the "Vayechi Yosef, " both in the city of Pupa and in the city of Szombathely, where he served as a Dayan alongside his teacher.

After Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak rebuilt his home by marrying the daughter of his teacher, the "Vayaged Yaakov" (sister of the "Vayechi Yosef"), he served as the Av Beit Din of Pupa in place of his brother-in-law, who had moved to Szombathely. In early 1947, he followed his brother-in-law’s directive to the displaced persons camps in Germany, where he stayed in Fernwald, and later moved with him to Antwerp. Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak subsequently served as rabbi of the community in Melbourne, Australia, and later moved to Montreal, Canada, where he led the "Kehilat Machzikei Hadas" of Belz Hasidim for dozens of years.

Like his teachers, he was connected to the Belz Rebbes. He was the uncle of the current Belz Rebbe and served as the primary companion at his wedding celebration. Among Belz Hasidim in Israel and around the world, he was renowned for his righteousness and integrity. He headed numerous Torah institutions of Pupa and Skver Hasidic communities. After his passing, his students published a series titled Agurah BeOhalecha Olamim, consisting of three volumes of responsa and a volume of his memoirs.
