Following the endorsements, the publisher Rabbi AG”N’s introduction is printed, in which he describes, among other things, the story of his appointment as Rishon LeTzion "by royal decree, " which was accompanied by controversy.
Sefer Divrei Shalom was one of the very first seforim printed in Yerushalayim. It was published by the son-in-law of the Rishon Lezion and Rosh Yeshivah of Beit E-l Harav Chaim Avraham Gegin. The author listed the customs of the Beit E-l congregation in the beginning of his sefer.
After the introduction, responsa on matters of Kabbalah are printed.

The publisher, Rabbi Chaim Avraham Gagin – Rabbi AG”N (1747-1848), was one of the greatest scholars and Kabbalists of Jerusalem. He was the first Rishon LeTzion to also receive the official title of Chacham Bashi (the official representative of the Jewish community to the Ottoman authorities), conferred by the Ottoman Sultan.
The author, the eminent kabbalist Harav Refael Avraham Shalom Mizrachi Sharabi (1775-1827), renowned as Rav Harash, was the son of the kabbalist Harav Chizkiyahu Yitzchak (‘Hachai Bashemesh’) and the grandson of the Rashash. He was Rosh Yeshivah of the kabbalistic Yeshivah Beit E-l.
