Haggadah and Order of Sefiras HaOmer with the sacred intentions of the Arizal and Baal Shem Tov excerpted from the siddur of the Baal Shem Tov’s disciple Rabbi Shabsi of Rashkov.

“Brought to print upon the instruction of the holy tzaddik…Moreinu Harav Meir of Premishlan zt”l.”

The sefer opens with an approbation by the publisher, Rabbi Meir Premishlan’s son-in-law the Admor Harav Chaim Avraham of Mikolayev. In the course of his letter, he inscribes, “My righteous father-in-law zt”l during his lifetime deeply yearned to have the Haggadah and Sefirah with these kavanos, published in order to bestow merits to the public.”


This edition is very scare, has only appeared once at public auction.

Antique script on the title page : “Brought to the print house by order of the godly man, the Rebbe, our teacher, Rabbi Meir, of blessed memory.”

Stamp: "Yoel, son of the righteous one, of blessed memory, " and "Yoel Moskowitz, son of the righteous Rebbi Meir, of blessed memory, here in Shotz."

Ownership inscription: "Thursday, Vayikra, 1921 — this sefer belongs to the young man, Rabbi Yoel."

Rebbe Yoel Moskowitz of (1907–1980), was the youngest son of the Rebbe Meir of Shotz (Suceava). He served as a Rebbe in the Stamford Hill neighborhood of London. In 1949, he immigrated to Montreal, where he served as Rebbe until 1968, when he moved to Jerusalem. He dedicated himself to editing and publishing the works of his grandfather, the revered Rebbe of Botshatsh, and enriched these works with his insightful annotations.


Overall Good-Fair condition, some stains, some pages towards beginning of sefer have marginal repairs or restorations sometimes affecting text, new sumptuous red leather binding.
