Nearly nearly complete set. Four parts in three volumes.
On the endpapers and margins of the volumes are ancient annotations and notations. It appears that some of the writings are from Rebbi Yisrael Hager of Radowitz, but most probably that some are even older, handwritten by his holy ancestors from the Kosiv and Radowitz dynasties.
On the reverse of the title page of the second volume (Shmot), Rebbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev’s approbation was printed, given to the "sustainer of the press of the holy community of Slavuta."
In his endorsement, the holy Rebbi of Berditchev mentions the "sustainer of the press of the holy community of Slavuta, " but no name is specified. It is known that this "sustainer of the press" was Rabbi Moshe Shapira, Av Beit Din of Slavuta, who, for various reasons, concealed his name during those years under his partners’ names: Rabbi Dov Ber Segal and Rabbi Dov Ber son of Pesach.

Stamps of Rebbe Yisrael Hager [1876–1940], son of Rebbi Moshe of Radowitz, author of Vayikach Moshe. He succeeded his father and served as Rebbe in Radowitz. In 1913, he emigrated to the United States and established a synagogue in Manhattan, on the famous Wall Street. He founded the "Torat Chaim" yeshiva and inspired American Jews to observe mitzvot. In 1919, he established an orphanage in Safed and supported it financially. Additionally, he assisted Rebbi Yisrael Hager of Vizhnitz in raising funds to support the residents of the Land of Israel. Overall Good condition, thick green-blue pages, water stains, couple marginal tears, original brown leather bindings slightly damaged.
