On the title page and last page are the stamps of the holy Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager of Vishova from his youth, when he served as the young rabbi of Vizhnitz, reading: "Menachem Mendel Hager, son of the Tzadik Shlit”a, the young rabbi of the holy congregation of Vizhnitz and the surrounding areas, may they be established."

The name "Hager" is also inscribed.

Additionally, there is a signature and ownership inscription from R. Asher Enzil Tay…, dated 1900.

At the top of the title page is a lengthy dedication from the author to the holy Rabbi of Vishova:

B”h, this is a gift sent to the hands of my beloved friend, beloved by all of Israel, the esteemed rabbi, the holy sage, from the illustrious family line of the righteous, etc., etc., the esteemed and exalted Menachem, may he be well, leader of the holy congregation of Vizhnitz, may he be safeguarded and sustained. From me, the young and humble one who asks and requests that he remember me with a good remembrance—there is no good but the light of Torah and fear of Heaven—on the upcoming day of the giving of our holy Torah. From me, the author, Chaim Yehuda son of Rivka.”

The Holy Gaon Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager [1885-1941], the eldest son of the Holy Rebbe author of the Ahavas Yisroel of Vizhnitz. Since 1908, he served as the Rav of Vizhnitz and the Rosh Yeshiva of the Beis Yisroel Yeshiva. In 1921, he was appointed Av Beis Din of Visheve and there too established a large yeshiva that was the largest in Romania with more than 400 students. In 1936, after the passing of his father the Ahavas Yisroel, he started serving as Admor and was admiringly and lovingly titled "Rabbi Mendel of Vishava". He continued teaching at his yeshiva and worked in the entire Ramrush district for supporting Torah and religion. By this, he was one of the leaders of the Agudas Yisroel movement and a member of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah.

Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Segal Deutch (1876-1938. Otzar HArabbanim 6338), was a great and pious scholar. Served for 35 years as a rabbi and dayan in Maqua. Disciple of the Arugot Habosem. He recived Toorah from Rebbe Yekutiel of Shinwa and from Rebbe Yissachar Dov of Belz. Author of Mayim Chaim, Ahavat Chaim, Ruach Chaim, Be’er Yehuda, and the Kol Yehuda Passover Haggada. His sons are the well-known Rabbi Yehoshua, Rabbi in Katamon, and Rabbi Ya’akov Shmarya, Rabbi of Chug Chatam Sofer in Petach Tikva.
