Sefer Tav Yehoshua – Krakow, 1882. Three parts.
With stamps & marginalia of the Holy Rebbe Moshe Eichenstein, the Rebbe of Ziditchov in Veretzky and Munkatch.
The Holy Admor Rebbi Moshe’le Eicenstein of Ziditchov (c.1874-1944) was the son of the Admor Rebbi Yissachar Berish of Veretzky, the grandson of Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Ziditchov author of Sefer Malbushei Shabbas VeYom Tov
In 1892 he was appointed Av Beis Din in Ziditchov and returned to Veretzky (Nyzhni Vorota) in 1932 to succeed his father as the admor. He was known for his genius in both Torah and Kabbala, his sharp wit and dedication to learning, and as a true tzaddik who cared deeply about every Jew. During World War I, he escaped to Slovakia and served as the Admor of Ziditchov in Munkatch. He was also renown as a great wonder-worker
He suffered greatly during the Holocaust and was injured and tortured by the Nazis, who murdered him in Auschwitz in 1944 Hy”d. From the remnants of his writings, the Sefer Zichron Moshe (New York, 1985) was published.
Stamps of his son Rabbi Eliyahu Eichenstein, rabbi of Ziditchov.
Born in 1889. In 1904 he married the daughter of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kaner of Sanok. He suscedded his father as rabbi of Ziditchov. He perishe in the holocaust in 1943 Hy”d.
