One of the most beautifully designed pieces of Jewish Damascene work from Palestine that is known. In the center is a lit seven-branched menorah, and in between two menorah branches are a pair of shofars, and this all encloses The Ten Commandments.

On the rim, interspersed between Stars of David is this Hebrew verse from Isaiah 27:13 — "And it shall come to pass on that day, that a great shofar shall be sounded, and those lost in the land of Assyria and those exiled in the land of Egypt shall come and they shall prostrate themselves before the Lord on the holy mount in Jerusalem".

After this verse, the Hebrew year of 1920 is stated. Not only is this dish made of silver and copper inlaid on brass, there are many indentations for tiny colored stones to be placed (a number of which now are missing), such as in the flames of the menorah, on the menorah branches, and in the center of the Stars of David on the rim.

Good condition, some tiny colored stones are missing
