An American Water Basin Dedicated to Temple Emanuel 1953 Large silver-plated basin stands on four cartouche shaped legs with a square base. Basin is decorated with beautiful floral and foliage designs supported by a spool shaped stem. A spout protrudes from bottom body of basin with a cartouche and floral designed handle which serves as the lever to pour or stop the water flow. Two auriform shaped handles with bone rings are attached to either side of the basin. Multi tiered lid is harmonious with its stem and has foliage scrolling and beaded edges.
