Large anthology of prayers per the Ancona custom. The book describes the earthquakes that took place in Italy, with prayers that were composed and recited following them. On leaf 48, there is a lengthy description of the earthquake that took place on 21 Tevet 1691, also known as Purim Ancona, with the establishment of a public fast day and a prayer regarding the earthquake for the fast day and a special song (the Chid"a, in a responsa in his book Chaim Sha’al Part II, 11, mentions that he was asked by the community’s rabbinic leaders regarding this). Leaves 56-57 describe the earthquakes of 1734 and 1741, with special prayers and supplications recited then: "Men and women sat for many nights in the synagogue, youth along with elders, crying and pleading”.

Overall Good condition, a couple pages have marginal tears , water stains, original vellum and paper binding.
