The Tzadik Rebbi Moshe Langer,   was born in 1878 to his father, the Holy Rebbi Yehuda Tzvi II of Stratin, son of the Holy Rebbi Uri of Ratyin, son-in-law of Rabbi Avraham of Stratin, son of the holy Rebbi Yehuda Tzvi of Stratyn, of blessed memory. His mother was the daughter of the Holy Rebbi Shlomo Taub of Rozla (son-in-law of Rebbi Yehuda Tzvi of Rozla, son-in-law of the Ateret Tzvi of Zhidachov) son of Rabbi Moshe Chaim of Kalov, son of the Holy Rebbi Yitzchak Isaac of Kalov, of blessed memory.

He married the daughter of his brother, Rabbi Yisrael of Brod. He led his Hasidic court in Kozova, Stratin, and Lviv. In 1920, he arrived in Toronto and settled there.

His sons-in-law were the righteous Rebbi Yochanan Twersky, Rebbe of Tolna, of blessed memory, and the righteous Rebbi David Flam, Rebbe of Alask-Montreal, of blessed memory.

The signature of his son, the wondrous righteous Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Langer (1906-1979). From early childhood, he was completely detached from this world.

Overall Fair condition, brittle pages, some stains and marginal tears sometimes affecting text, pages 48-50,107-109 have tears with missing text, sumptuous new purple leather binding with owners name.
