The Siddur of Rabbi Yaakov Emden was highly regarded in Hasidic circles, and its second edition (the present edition) was printed in Korets in 1818 with the initiative and approval of the great Hasidic leaders, Rebbe Avraham Yehoshua Heshel of Apta and Rebbe Mordechai of Chernobyl. In the Korets edition, only the first and second parts were printed, and in 1836, the third part was printed in Berdichev, with the initiative and approval of Rebbe Mordechai of Chernobyl and Rebbe Yisrael of Ruzhin. Rebbe Yisrael of Ruzhin writes about the siddur in his approbation: "It is founded on solid gold and its origin teaches the correct way with clear intellect regarding the matter of prayer."
