This 18th century compact machzor from Amsterdam is exceedingly rare.
Features the Kavanas Hapaytan commentary, which presents before every piyyut a brief introduction of the author’s intentions and meaning in composing the liturgy.
Was first printed in Amsterdam, 1750 in larger format, yet this is the first print of these machzorim in their present smaller format.
