Margins with over 100 notations, most of them being in the Holy hand of the Gaon Rabbi David Sperber of Braşov

The famed Rabbi David Sperber, known as the ‘Gaon of Brashov ’ was a prominent Romanian rabbi and respondent who lived prior to the Holocaust. He learned Torah by Rabbi Meir Arik, and Chassidus by the Admor Rabbi Moshe Hager of Kossov. In later years, the Admor appointed him to edit his important sefer "Leket Ani." Rabbi David immigrated to Eretz Yisrael where he served as a member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah until his passing in 1962.


Overall Bad condition, stains, first few pages have marginal repairs and frayed edges, worming affecting text, text block split at center, some pages have small marginal tears and frayed corners, later cloth binding slightly rubbed and has wormholes.
