Beautiful menorah set on four large cartouche and shell chased legs supporting a upward slanted base with elegant foliate chased scrolled borders. A row of eight applied crowned lion shaped oil containers each with a hinged cover and protruding wick spouts from their mouths. Two rectangular stepped columns topped with resting lions, front paws clutching a ring loop. A single chain is strung through a single pillar shaped rail at front of the rectangular flat terrace.
Cartouche formed backplate adorned with blossoming rose designs and C-scrolls at its top edges and topped with a repoussé beaded band and floral crown. Bottom of backplate features ten arches with beaded designs at top corresponding to each applied lion on the front terrace. Embossed and chased at center of backplate are two rampant lions holding a foliate crowned Decalogue featuring the engraved and crowned ten commandments. Servant lamp shaped into a lions head with wick spout and auriform handle is fitted in to one side of its top edge. A large oil jug with a lions head shaped spout is fitted into the opposite edge of the menorah.
