Gorgeous snuff box is styled in the shape of a book with a hinged front cover which swings open at spine, with numerous pages formed at sides and a back cover serving as its base. Bottom of the box has a checkered box pattern while front cover is decorated with flowing foliage motifs. At center of top cover is a Decalogue with the letters ‘Aleph’ through ‘Yud’ written on both tablets and is topped by a Star of David.
Being a gold snuff box from over 100 years ago makes this a very special piece.
