Tray is decorated with rosebud and leaflet repoussé designs surrounding the rim. Center features an engraved lilac with six foliage offshoots on a circular scrolled background.
Bowl has beautiful chased floral bouquet arrangements encircling the outer walls on a scale engraved background.
Spoon is elaborately accessorized with a pierced and cartouche design of floral and foliage ornaments along the handle to the base.
Marked at bottom of spoon handle, inside bottom base of bowl, and inside bowl of tray.
This cutlery set was used by the Rebbe at the ‘Tish’ where he would portion out his soup to his Chassidim for ‘Sherayim’, towards the end of his lifetime.
