The Holy Rebbe Yosef Greenwald (1903-1984), later the Admor of Pupa. He was the son of Rabbi Yaakov Yechezkiya Greenwald, son of the author of the Arugos Habosem, a talmid of his father and great uncle, author of the Keren L’Dovid. After his marriage, he served as dayan in Satmar and helped the Keren L’Dovid run the yeshivah. After the Holocaust, he moved to the United States where he reestablished his beit medrash and yeshivah. Rabbi Aharon of Belz testified that he “never tasted the taste of sin.”
