The Holy Gaon Rabbi David Yehuda Zilberstein, the son of the Gaon of Vietzen (Vac) Maran the Ma’asai LaMelech, a disciple of the Geonim Rabbi Shaul Brach and Rabbi Mordechai Leib Winkler the Levushei Mordechai. In 1905, he published the Sefer Yad David, which received enthusiastic approbations by Gedolei Hador . In 1915, he became a Rav in Alistal. In 1928, he served as Dayan in Vietzen, alongside his father who passed away in 1930. He then succeeded him as the Rav of Vietzen.
