A rare copy of its kind: Bound in original leather cover. Adorned with special decorations within a golden frame. Decorations of angels holding a Torah crown in one hand and myrtle branches in the other.  In the center is a decoration of a stork holding a snake in its beak. Additional decorations. The decorations are identical on both sides of the cover. All in gold ink. Gilded and decorated page edges."

Extra thick pages. great condition. Tiny holes indicating that the binding originally had clasps.

Provenance: The library of Rabbi David Ya’akov Maroni (1810-1888), served as rabbi in several Italian cities, including Pesaro, Ancona, Florence and others.

Tikkun Shlomo- Tikunay Shabbos is a siddur special for Shabbos with the prayers beginning on Erev Shabbos and culminating on Motza\'ei Shabbos. It includes all the tefillos and Torah portions, zemiros Shabbos, as well as instructions and customs. This was a very popular siddur in the past and was published in many editions.
