The Gaon Rabbi Moshe Chaim ben Rabbi Avraham Aharon Weiss was born in 1856. He was a prominent disciple of Rabbi Shmelke Klein of Selesh.

Head of the Chassidic Kloiz of Kleinwardein (Kisvárda), author of the Bris Moshe commentary on Sefer Mitzvos Gadol (Munkatch, 1905) whom the Admor of Munkatch author of Pischei Teshuva greatly praised. Rabbi Moshe Chaim refused to be appointed Rav of important and large communities so he could study and teach Torah. Left manuscripts with the Yedei Moshe commentary on the Rambam, Leshon Moshe, Pnei Moshe and Kaf Moshe on the Shulchan Aruch and Sefer Todlos Moshe on his pedigree. He passed away in 1922.


Overall Good condition, some stains, original binding damaged.
