The Gaon Rabbi Yosef Zvi Dushinsky (1868-1948), a prominent Hungarian Gaon. Served as Av Bet Din of Galanta and Chust, In 1933, he immigrated to Eretz Israel to succeed Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld as Av Bet Din of the Eidah HaCharedis in Jerusalem.He led the Charedi Jewry in Eretz Israel with authority, He passed away in 1948 during the war.

The "Tzadik of Jerusalem" Rabbi Aryeh Levin (1885-1969), excelled in Torah and in charitable deeds. He served as the spiritual director and supervisor of the Etz Chaim Talmud Torah (boy's school). An alumnus of Lithuanian yeshivot: Hlusk, Slutsk, Volozhin and the Torat Chaim yeshiva in Jerusalem, he was a cherished disciple of the leading Torah scholars of the generation: Rabbi Refael Shapiro of Volozhin, Rabbi Chaim Berlin, Rabbi Shlomo Elyashiv the Leshem, Rabbi Baruch Ber Leibovitz, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaKohen Kook, his brother-in-law Rabbi Tzvi Pesach Frank and Rabbi Yitzchak Zev Soloveitchik of Brisk. He immigrated to Jerusalem as an adolescent and married the granddaughter of the head of the Jerusalem Beit Din, R. Chaim Yaakov Shapira.

The Gaon Rabbi Meir Chadash (1898-1989) was the son of a rabbi and student of the Saba of Slobodka. He was mashgiach at the Chevron yeshiva for more than 50 years. He also served as mashgiach at the Ateret Yisrael and Or Elchanan yeshivot, and was a prominent figure of the Mussar movement. He moved to Israel in 1926. His sons and sons-in-law are prominent figures in yeshivot in Israel today. He wrote: Or Chadash, Or Meir, and more.
