Rabbi Avraham Falaji (1810-1899), eldest son and successor in the rabbinate of the renowned Torah genius Rabbi Chaim Falaji Av Beit Din of Izmir. Authored more than twenty works besides those which were lost in the big fire of 1841. Most of his many works bear his own name – Avraham – with various conjunctions alluding to verses: Avraham Ezkor, Avraham Anochi, Avraham Et Yado, Avraham Et Einav, etc.



The author, Rabbi Chaim Moshe ben Rabbi Yitzchak Matzli\'ach (passed away in 1845) one of the sages of Izmir, a disciple of Rabbi Yitzchak Albeli at the Magen Shaul Yeshiva. Author of Sefer Em Habanim which was published after his passing at a young age by his son. The approbation by Rabbi Avraham Palachi, the Rav of Izmir, greatly praises him.
