A Massive Silver and Parcel-Gilt Trophy Cup and Cover In late 19th century style of a waisted baluster form. Round lobed base decorated with beautiful repoussé and chased grape leaves and elegant streaming cartouches. Body is enhanced with detailed repoussé and chased grapes, grapevines and curled cartouches. Two handles at sides have magnificent chasings of of grapes and upward twisting vines where they connect to the main body. Cover is embossed harmoniously with the repoussé and chased decorations on the body. Topped with a teardrop formed foliage and acorn finial.
