Typed letter with the handwritten signature: "Baruch Dov Leibovitz." & his personal stamp.
It was sent to Amsterdam, to "the distinguished and esteemed Avrech, businessman with a warm heart… Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Leib Pachter, " requesting assistance for the "holy supervisor of our yeshiva, my brother-in-law, the illustrious and righteous Rabbi Naftali Leibowitz."
In the letter, the high spiritual state of learning in the yeshiva is described, which is "filled with, God willing, great Torah scholars and those who fear God… who unlock their genius talents within it, and daily bring forth profound Torah novelties. However, the economic situation is extremely dire… as all sources of income have been blocked due to the great crisis. The students of the yeshiva are hungry for bread…"
Rabbi Baruch Ber blesses the recipient of the letter, stating that due to his assistance to the yeshiva, he will be blessed "in all his endeavors and requests from Heaven, and he shall be blessed with all the blessings mentioned in the Torah. He shall soon witness the salvation of the Lord upon His people and the uplifting of the glory of our holy Torah and the glory of our Messiah in Jerusalem…"

The Holy Gaon Rabbi Baruch Ber Leibowitz (1870-1939), one of the greatest rabbis of his generation. Was a renowned merciful holy man. A leading disciple of Rabbi Chaim of Brisk, whom he followed all his days. In his youth, he established a Yeshiva in Kremenchog and headed it. In 1904, he was appointed Rosh Yeshiva of the Knesset Beis Yitzchak Yeshiva which was established by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Rabinowiyz the son of Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Spektor and the Rav of Kovna. He authored the Sefer Birkat Shmuel on the Shas and more.
