Rabbi Menachem Pollack (1890-1953), disciple of Rabbi Akiva Sofer of Pressburg, Rabbi Mozes Chaim Lietzs-Rosenbaum of Kleinwardein, Rabbi Moshe Grunwald of Chust and Rabbi Shmuel Rosenberg of Unsdorf. Son-in-law of I. Rabbi Yitzchak Cahana of Sinver and II. Rabbi Pinchas Billitzer, Rabbi of Szerencs. Succeeded his father-in-law as Rabbi of Szerencs in 1913 and from 1940, Rabbi of Beis Hamedrash Ahavas Yeshurun in New York; subsequently Rabbi at Beis Hamedrash Chevras Bachurim Anshei Ungarn. Author of Chelek Levy and Iyun Menachem.
Rabbi Shmuel Meir Hollander (1889-1965), son of Rabbi Nathan David of Amsana (Mszana Dolna) and son-in-law of Rabbi Shalom Hager of Stroznitz. Studied at the yeshiva of the Rebbe of Bobov, after his marriage he was appointed to succeed his father as Rabbi of Amsana, serving there until his appointment as Rabbi in Tchernowitz in 1913. After WWII he served as Rabbi of Darbani and Bucharest, before emigrating to Eretz Yisrael in 1948 and serving as Rabbi of Nevei Shaanan – Tel Aviv. Author of Shem Hacohen.
