A special letter of invitation from the leaders of the Khal Kodesh Chust to their former rabbi, Rabbi Yosef Zvi Dushinsky, who returned from Israel to visit the Carlsburg Bath. They invite him with great honor to visit & spend a Shabbat in their city with his family, and especially his son the smart young Rabbi Yisrael Moshe Shlita.
Signed by 25 community heads. At the right side the city’s Rabbi Yeshua Greenwald adds a few lines apologizing that he didn’t sign until now as he was away from home. His signature is lacking.

The Gaon Rabbi Yosef Zvi Dushinsky (1868-1948), a prominent Hungarian Gaon. Served as Av Bet Din of Galanta and Chust, In 1933, he immigrated to Eretz Israel to succeed Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld as Av Bet Din of the Eidah HaCharedis in Jerusalem.He led the Charedi Jewry in Eretz Israel with authority, He passed away in 1948 during the war.
The Gaon Rabbi Yeshua Greenwald was born in Chust to his father Rabbi Avraham Yosef the son of the famous Arugas Habosem. Son in law of the Desh Rebbe Yechezkel Panet. He helped his brother in law administer the Yeshiva there. Rabbi in Ungvar & when Rabbi Yosef Tzvi Duschinski left Chust for Jerusalem he took over his post.
