Rabbi Shalom Greenbaum Rabbi of Mate-Salka – a student with a ‘Daat Sofer’. Son and successor of Rabbi Menashe Greenbaum Rabbi of Mate-Salka who was a student of the Shevet Sofer. During his father’s lifetime he assisted him in the rabbinate and from 1940 y he took his place. He was killed in the Holocaust in 1944 Hy”d.(Hatam Sofer and his disciples p.657) Torah innovations from him were printed in the Hanesher periodical.
