A letter in Hebrew & Yiddish to the officer R.Yosef R”t (Rosenthal) in Pest asking for an increase in his salary because he cannot support himself on the current salary.

The Gaon Rabbi Feish Wallerstein was a Hungarian Rabbi who corresponded with Maran the Chasam Sofer,   who addresses him as ”The great eagle, my wonderful, extraordinary friend".

He served as Rabbi of Mór from around 1821 until his death in 1830.

Letters by him are Rare, & apparently has never appeared at public auction.
