The Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Yaakov Breish (1896-1976) was a rabbi and Av Beit Din of the Hasidic community of Agudat Achim in Zurich, Switzerland for more than forty years.

The Gaon Rabbi Elimelech Ashkenazi (1917-2012) for dozens of years served as the Rav of the Chareidi communities of Australia and Brasil. Was one of the last students of yeshivat Chachmei Lublin and a leading disciple of the Gaon Rabbi Meir Shapira founder of the Daf Yomi.
