A Rare Machzor! One of the first editions printed at the Shapira brothers’ printing press in Zhitomir, which was active between 1847 and 1864. Bibliographically unknown (only vol. 2 of that edition appears on the Bibliography Institute CD, record 0317038).

Overall Fair condition. stains, worming affecting text, first 50 pages have torn corners sometimes affecting text, last five pages have heavy repairs and tears affecting/missing text, original cloth binding damaged, front cover detached from text block.
