Steel blade, complex, dense silver filigree wire and solid silver handle. Beneath the blade the craftsman of the silver filigree incorporated a flower motif; flowers and vines were extremely popular as decoration on the carved wooden Torah arks of Eastern Europe, particularly those in the Ukraine.
The handle of this knife features exquisite filigree work.
