The holy Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kahana of Spinka, the beloved son-in-law of the holy Rebbi Avraham of Kerestir who resided with the holy Rebbi Yeshaya’le for three years until Rabbi Yeshaya’s passing. Then he succeeded his father in Humna. Was the son of Rebbi Zvi Hirsch of Spinka the son of the holy Gaon Rebbi Nachman Kahana author of Orchos Chaim, the son-in-law of the holy Rebbe the Imrei Yosef of Spinka. Rabbi Menachem Mendel was the brother of the holy Admorim Rebbi Nachman Kahana of Spinka and Bnei Berak and Rebbi Yosef Meir Kahana of Spinka Jerusalem.
The Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Oelbaum was the Av Beit Din of Cieszyn and after WWII, in Toronto, Canada. He wrote Sheilat Yitzchak. He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Yitzchak Isak Freidrich, the Av Beit Din of Humenne and a student of the Shevet Sofer.
