Rare complete nice copy.
Preceding this edition was an incomplete edition, printed without the author’s knowledge, called Tikkun Yissaschar. There are essential differences between the editions; there are some sections that only appear in this Venice edition. As appears in the author’s preface, at the beginning of this volume: "The metaken said – this work was printed in two or three places without my knowledge. This is the proofread version and my choice, and as a sign, I have given it this name. It also contains new glosses and other matters that did not appear in the first – it is twice as good." note that the first version (Constantinople, 1564) the calculations refer to the years 1564 onward, but calculations in (this) 1579 version refer to the years 1579 onward, that is to say that the later print, 1579, contains the earlier and precise version from the manuscript and that the first print (1564) bears a different text! (Refer to Ben Ya’akov, Otzar HaSefarim, Vilna, 1880, p. 429, in the entry on leap years.)
