Pamphlet “Summaries and notes to the Likkutei Amarim” by Rabbeinu the Tzemach Tzedek, published by Kehat, 29th Elul 1989.received from the Rebbe himself. Bright binding, overall good condition. A record of his acceptance from the Rebbe appears on the gate.

In advance of the 29th of Elul (Erev Rosh HaShana), the 200th birthday of the Admor Tzemach Tzedek (1789-1989), the Rebbe ordered the printing of a new edition of the booklet “Kitzurim v’He’Arot to the Likkutei Amarim” by the Admor Tzemach Tzedek, edited by the Rebbe.

On the eve of the 29th of Elul, upon the Rebbe’s return from the Ohel, he entered the main synagogue and went to the bimah and his special spot, which had been prepared for Tishrei, to pray minchah and maariv. By that time the synagogue was already full and crowded. After the prayers, the Rebbe turned towards the ‘world’ and walked towards the special stender, and began to hold a special discourse in honor of the day, the last day of the year 5749 and the 200th birthday of the Tzemach Tzedek.

During the conversation, the public was surprised to hear that the Rebbe would distribute, by himself, to each of those present, a booklets of " Kitzurim v’He’Arot to the Likkutei Amarim " from the Tzemach Tzedek (edited by the Rebbe), which was printed now in a new edition, according to the instructions of the Rebbe, together with a dollar for charity.

For more than three hours he stood and gave to everyone—man, woman, and even to babies—the book printed in blue binding, with a dollar for charity. In the middle, they showed the Admor the new book Igrot Kodesh, part 14, which had just been published. The public was so happy with the gift, that even in the middle of the night one could see groups sitting and studying the “fresh” pages of the new book.  (From the Mazkeret Netzach Chalukot Chabad)

.Without the accompanying dollar. We don’t have information as to who received it from the Rebbe.
