A rare Hecsher certificate for a factory in Mosonszentjanos attesting that it’s Kosher for Passover. With example of the band that should go on each box to certify that it’s kosher for Passover.

Rabbi Shimon Sofer known as the Erlauer Rav, was the son of Rabbi Avraham Binyamin Sofer (the Kesav Sofer) and grandson of the Chasam Sofer. He is famed for his halachic work Hithoreruth Teshuvah. His grandson, Rabbi Moshe Sofer, is the present Erlau Rebbe, based in Jerusalem.
