Sefer Your Mishpatecha L’Yaakov, a work integrating mussar, maasiyot, and proverbs, and rhyming sections, by Rabbi Yaakov ben Rabbi Shlomo Sukari of Damascus. In the work he references Sefarim and Chassidic gedolim like: the Bnei Issachar, The Rebbi of Apta, Rabbi Naftali Zvi of Ropschitz, a story from the Ba’al Shem Tov, and more.
First edition. Calcutta 1882, at the press of Eliyahu Moshe Dwech HaKohen.
At the end is Sefer Moadei HaRegel. At the beginning and end are prayers from the author for tikkun chatzot and for a sick person and more. After the title page are verses inscribed in a calligraphic manner under the title: Degel HaMechaber.

Chacham Ya’akov Sukari [d. 1908] was the son of Rabbi Shlomo Sukari, Av Beit Din of Damascus, and grandson of the pious Kabbalist Rabbi Ya’akov Entebbe z"l. Chacham Ya’akov Sukari would conduct himself according to his father’s ways, arising at midnight and studying Torah in poverty and suffering. He set out for Calcutta and Bombay in 1884, and printed this book there. He ascended to the Land of Israel towards the end of his life. He also authored VaYikra Ya’akov which is comprised of sermons on the Torah (Livorno 1779).
