Stamps of his son the Gaon Rabbi Shimon Aharon Sofer (1896-1943). Rabbi Shimon Aharon taught in Rabbi Shmuel David Ungar’s yeshiva in Tirnau before accepting the position as rabbi of Nowe Miasto. In 1942 he was murdered by the Nazis in Libertów Hy”d.
