First edition printed during the author’s lifetime, who had requested from his sons to print it “on beautiful paper, with black ink and fine letters, because, in my opinion, the soul marvels, the wisdom and the intention awaken when one learns in a fine, luxurious book” (from the introduction). This sefer was indeed printed on thick, high quality paper, which had been manufactured especially for this sefer print (the watermarks of the paper bear the name of the manufacturer and the name of the person who ordered the print: “EIGER”).



Overall Great condition, thick good quality paper, some pages greenish, few stains, first few pages have very small marginal tears and minor marginal worming, original binding damaged.
