Approbations by Rebbi Asher Zvi of Ostroh who writes: "I have heard that this siddur was seen by the great and holy … Ba’al Shem Tov and found favor in his eyes". [The siddur was compiled by the kabbalist Rabbi Ya’akov Kapil Lifshitz of Mezritch who also wrote the book Sha’ar Gan Eden which was also highly praised by the Ba’al Shem Tov as written on its title page].

The Renowned Holy Gaon Rabbi Akiva Yosef Schlesinger [1837-1922] a disciple of his father Rabbi Yechiel who was a disciple of the Chasam Sofer and the Ketav Sofer, the Maharam Schick and the Machaneh Chaim. The son-in-law of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Hillel Lichtenstein of Kalameu. Immigrated to the Land of Israel and acted for its pure settlement. Was renowned for his unique Psakim on several matters, Psakim that led to a heated polemic for several years.

Overall Good -Fair condition, some water and mold stains to several pages, title and last page detached from text block, some page edges frayed, tear with missing text to one page. original binding damaged.
