The Holy Rabbi Yisrael Yaakov Yokel Teitlebaum (1838 – 1924) was the son of Rabbi Shmuel of Gorlice, son of Rabbi Eliezer Nissan of Drohobycz, son of the Yismach Moshe. He was a son-in-law of the Yetev Lev. Rabbi Yisrael Yaakov Yokel studied by both his grandfather, Rabbi Eliezer Nissan, and father-in-law. He frequently traveled to Rabbi Chaim of Sanz who accorded him much admiration. He served as Av Beis Din of Barbasht, Gorlice and finally Volovo. In Vololo, he served as an Admor, accepting kvitlach and distributing segulos and amulets. He published his grandfather’s manuscript Responsa Yismach Moshe and Tehila L’Moshe recounting his life. His Torah novellae were published in Hativ Aytiv. His son was Rabbi Moshe David Teitlebaum, Av Beis Din of Lapush.
Signatures of "Shaul Teitelbaum" on the title page – possibly his grandson R. Shaul Teitelbaum of Halmin (son of his son R. Menachem Mendel Teitelbaum of Jerusalem).

Overall Good condition, few marginal stains, pages 3-4 have marginal repairs, original cloth binding rubbed and damaged spine.
